School resources are to be used for school work only.
Students cannot come to the library for their personal entertainment if those pursuits are not related to schoolwork.
Cell phones are not to be in use for non-academic purposes.
Students cannot come and go as they please. Students move with the bell schedule unless they have a pass to do otherwise.
No food or drink is permitted.
Middle school students are to enter the library from the middle school hallway only.
Students MUST have a pass if they are in the library, at any time, between the first and last bell of the school day.
All students MUST sign in at the circulation desk if they are not in the library with a class.
High school students need a pass from a teacher to complete schoolwork or check out a book.
This is a general high school procedure regarding being anyplace in the building, other than the cafeteria before the school day begins.
Middle school students can come in to check out a book or complete schoolwork.
ALL students are required to sign in at the circulation desk.
ALL students are required to leave the library when the first bell rings.
Students visit with a class and do not need to sign in.
Students have a pass from a classroom teacher to complete a school-related task.
Students can come from study hall if they have a pass from a subject teacher for the completion of school work.
Caution: The library might be heavily booked with classes and study hall students might not have access during their study hall period.
Do not wait until the last minute to complete your work.
ALL students are required to sign in at the circulation desk unless they are here with a class.
High school students can use the library for school work until closing at 3:45 p.m..The library closes at 2:35 p.m.on Friday.
Middle school students can come in to check out a book or complete an SRC quiz. Students are required to leave the library by 3:00 p.m.
The middle school students have the opportunity to attend homework club, under the supervision of Mrs. Karetney.
ALL students are required to sign in at the circulation desk unless they are here with a teacher.
A student may have up to 5 items checked out at any given time. This could change based on the individual student's borrowing record.
Materials are checked out for three weeks.
An item may be renewed for another three weeks if necessary and if the item is not on hold for another student.
Middle school students do not incur library fines, but we ask that materials are turned in according to the due date in case another student is waiting to borrow the item.
High school students incur a $.05 per day, per item late fine. This overdue fine is capped at $1.00.
If the borrowing record of any student is not clear and current, such student may be prohibited from participating in school activities.
